I agree with Michelle. I've only been here once, but I really enjoyed it. Love the building and entrance - it still feels like it's a speakeasy in that regard. Once you get in, it's a calm, intimate atmosphere that's very conducive to conversation. The only semi-negative I can think of is the location: it's on the border of a neighborhood one might not want to park a car or walk alone at night, but if you stay at Martick's or east, it's reasonable. A Baltimore landmark everyone must check out. An old speakeasy turned jazz club turned funky French restaurant. Food was great and the service was down home Bawlmer hospitality. It is not often I hug my waitress on the way out after a first visit to a restaurant! The pate and Bouillabaisse are musts. [less]
