I tried CarsDirect for buying a new 2008 Mazda3, but was disappointed with the results. Maybe my expectations were just off the mark. I selected the exact car I wanted, including options and accessories. I was expecting to get multiple quotes back from multiple dealers. Instead, I got one quote - and it was so low (well below dealer cost) that it obviously didn't account for the options and accessories I selected.
On the other hand, I received my quote very quickly and the site itself worked well.
