I absolutely loved my first visit to Annabel Lee Tavern, a fairly new restaurant in Highlandtown/Canton (Baltimore City). I am a Edgar Allen Poe fan so that intrigued me right off the bat. The bar was cozy, wonderfully decorated with Poe appropriate fixtures and best of all, the service and the food were top notch. The owner visited our table often to ask how we were enjoying our food. The waitress was pleasant and attentive and the food service was quick. The food was very good and unique. They don't take reservations and the place filled up quick. Good sign because I want them to stay around!
